Dr. Ellen E. Presnedi

Dr. Ellen E. Presnedi is a distinguished academic leader and Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in higher education administration and corporate management. She currently serves as Officer-in-Charge, President of PLMun (since October 16, 2025), continuing her long-standing commitment to advancing quality education and institutional development.

She holds a Doctor of Education from the Philippine Christian University, a Master in Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Accountancy from Ateneo de Naga University. Her professional eligibility as a CPA underscores her strong foundation in finance and governance.

Dr. Presnedi’s leadership journey at PLMun spans over a decade, including roles as OIC-University President (2013–2021), President Emeritus (2021–present), and Dean of the College of Accountancy (2022–present). Prior to her academic leadership, she rose from the ranks to become Vice President for Supply Chain at 3M Philippines, Inc., demonstrating her expertise in organizational growth and operational excellence.

Under her stewardship, PLMun achieved significant milestones: Secured Level II Accreditation in 2014 within eight months, preserving university status. Became the first NCR recipient of UAQTE-RA 10931 (Free Higher Education) in 2017. Introduced the Scholarship Program (Ordinance No. 18-183) and spearheaded the Smart University Project, including the construction of the Research and Learning Resource Center in 2019. Licensed PLMun as a Local Economic Enterprise (LEE) in 2019. Opened the College of Medicine (PLMun-OsMun) in 2022 and launched new programs such as BS Management Accounting in 2024. Achieved a 100% CPA Licensure Exam passing rate in 2023 and 2024.

Dr. Presnedi actively engages in professional and community service as National Treasurer and Supervising Accreditor of ALCUCOA, Vice President and CFO of ALCU Philippines, and Board Member of UniFAST. She also participates in global academic leadership programs and international benchmarking initiatives.

Beyond academia, she serves as a Church Elder, and has held leadership roles in homeowners’ associations and cooperatives. Her contributions to Muntinlupa City include involvement in programs such as PAMANAng Nakakaproud!, 10 Most Outstanding Students, and Good Governance Campaigns.
