VISION

The College of Social Work envisions itself as a Center of Development in social work education committed to producing competent, compassionate, and socially responsible professionals who advocate for human rights, social justice, and sustainable community development in accordance with CHED standards and global professional practices.

MISSION
  1. Provide quality outcomes-based education grounded in social work theories, values, and ethical practice aligned with national and global standards.
  2. Develop graduates equipped with competencies in casework, community organizing, social policy advocacy, and research.
  3. Promote respect for human dignity, social justice, and cultural diversity through academic, fieldwork, and community engagement.
  4. Strengthen partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and communities to support responsive and sustainable social development programs.
  5. Produce competent, service-oriented, and globally competitive social work professionals embodying the PLMun core values.
GOALS

To develop socially responsive and ethically grounded social work graduates equipped with professional knowledge, practical skills, and a commitment to community empowerment, social protection, and nation-building for the promotion of a just and humane Philippine society.

COURSES OFFERED
Bachelor of Science in Social Work

The Bachelor of Science in Social Work program prepares students for professional practice in social welfare agencies, community development organizations, healthcare institutions, schools, and government services. It equips learners with competencies in case management, community organizing, policy advocacy, counseling, and social research, guided by ethical standards and a commitment to improving the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities.
