The University Seal of PLMun is the primary visual identifier of the institution. Patterned after the official Seal of the City of Muntinlupa, the Torch symbolizes the role of education in achieving the City's Vision: To make Muntinlupa the Premiere Emerald City of the 21st Century.

THE TORCH

Serving as the backdrop for the Torch, the flag anchors PLMun to its commitment to nation-building as a key institution under the Republic of the Philippines and the Local Government of Muntinlupa.
LAKAS, TALINO AT BUHAY
Derived from the official City anthem (Muntinlupa March), Lakas, Talino, at Buhay represent the core tenets guiding the University's overarching vision and mission.
1991 - 2003
1991 marks the founding year as Muntinlupa Polytechnic College (MPC), while 2003 marks the milestone year when full local University status was granted.
