DPO/DPS AND RE-ORIENTATION ON THE USE OF THE EMPLOYEE PORTAL

Assistant Vice President for Technology Integration and Associate Professor Alain J. Anuevo spearheaded the DPO/DPS orientation for the PLMun community. He emphasized that safeguarding the university’s privacy and security is a shared responsibility among all members of the institution. Prof. Anuevo delivered a clear and comprehensive discussion on critical topics, including phishing, data theft, and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. The session also covered essential aspects of data privacy, particularly the proper handling and collection of confidential information. Following this, the orientation highlighted the newly introduced features of the employee portal.
