CLD Anniversary General Assembly

On November 17, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa’s Center for Languages and Development (CLD) celebrated its anniversary through a General Assembly themed “Speak, Connect, Celebrate: A Journey Through Languages and Cultures.”

The program commenced with an opening message from Dr. Fermae Tamayao, Dean of the Institute for Integrated Development Education (IIDE), followed by an inspirational message from Asst. Prof. Ruby Myra Lacro, Vice President for Administration. A message of support was also delivered by Ms. Thina Gardner, Director for Marketing and Communications.

The event highlighted the oath-taking of CLD officers, administered by Ms. Lily G. Jarata, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), along with the awarding of certificates to participating members.

Adding vibrance to the celebration were special performances from the PLMun Chorale and Arqitekz, showcasing the choir’s vocal harmony and the dance troupe’s dynamic choreography.

The assembly concluded with closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Ma. Purificacion “Dang” Gannaban, Director of the Center for Languages and Development, followed by a photo opportunity with all participants and guests.
