The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) held a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony in partnership with the MPC-PLMun Alumni Association Inc., spearheaded by the Center for Linkages and International Affairs (CLIA) under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, Linkages, and International Affairs (REQALIA), led by Dr. Edsel R. Umali. The ceremony took place on November 18, 2025, at the University Board Room, following the exploratory meeting held on November 6, 2025.

The program opened with an Invocation, followed by the Welcome Remarks of Dr. Sherwin C. Esteron, Director of CLIA. This was succeeded by an inspiring message from Mr. Jose Querubin C. Lazar, President of the MPC-PLMun Alumni Association Inc.

The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of the MOA and the ceremonial turnover of funds in support of PLMun’s Research, Extension, and Social Work initiatives. The turnover was led by Dr. Elena Presnedi, Officer-in-Charge of PLMun. The following units formally received the support:

• ?50,000 for the Research Grant, received by the Center for Research Development and Publications, under Director Fe Dullavin

• ?25,000 for the Livelihood Package, received by the Center for Extension Services, headed by Director Marjorie Angeles

• ?50,000 for the purchase of books for the Social Work Program, received by the Institute of Social Work (ISW) represented by Asst. Prof. Sannie Jusay

Words of gratitude and acknowledgment were delivered by the respective recipients, expressing appreciation for the support extended by the Alumni Association.

To formally conclude the ceremony, Asst. Prof. Sannie Jusay, Program Chair of the Institute of Social Work, delivered the Closing Remarks, emphasizing the significance of the strengthened partnership and the shared commitment to advancing PLMun’s mission in research, extension, and community service.
