On November 19, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun), through its Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG), inaugurated its first Flagship Community Extension Program 2025 titled “Konsulta Mo, Sagot Ko” at the Soroptimist International Alabang (SIA) Hall.
The event formally opened with the program preliminaries, which included the Prayer, National Anthem, Muntinlupa March, and the PLMun Hymn. To officially commence the consultation, Dr. Christian Paul Dela Vega delivered the welcoming remarks, setting the tone for the event’s goal of offering accessible legal assistance to the community.
An inspirational message followed from Hon. Cristine May Abas, whose remarks underscored the significance of community engagement and public service. The session continued with Atty. Filbert Mejorada serving as the program’s resource speaker, providing substantial and relevant discussions related to legal concerns presented by the participants.
Before moving to the main portion of the activity, Ms. Ana Marie Pascua, the incumbent IPPG Dean, presented the mechanisms for community extension and emphasized the institute’s ongoing commitment to community empowerment and support.
The event’s highlight was the Question and Answer Session, where attendees were given the opportunity to seek legal guidance directly from the resource speaker. The open forum enabled an insightful exchange, addressing various legal matters and clarifying concerns of the community members.
To formally conclude the program, closing remarks were delivered, marking the successful launch of the IPPG’s flagship initiative for 2025—an endeavor aimed at strengthening community engagement and expanding PLMun’s outreach through responsive public service.
