CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE:3rd GAWAD SIKLAB AND RESEARCH TURNOVER CEREMONY RECOGNIZES INNOVATION AND DEDICATION

In a celebration marked by brilliance and a commitment to innovation, Gawad SIKLAB and Research Turnover Ceremony illuminated the achievements and dedication of outstanding individuals. Held in Museo ng Muntinlupa on 21st of November 2024, the event brought together faculty-researchers, leaders, and guests to witness and honor the exceptional contributions of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa faculty.
Themed "Research Impact, Excellence, and Beyond", the event served as a testament to the transformative potential of collective dedication towards research excellence.
Dr. Bernardo N. Sepeda, a respected figure in academe and the Executive Director of the National Research Council of the Philippines, delivered an inspiring address on the crucial role of transdisciplinary research in societal development.
Following Dr. Sepeda's plenary talk, the spotlight turned to a significant moment -- the research turnover ceremony. Several institutions, including the Muntinlupa National Police, Sitio San Antonio Homeowners Association, City Gender and Development Office, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Human Resource Development & Management Office of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, received research studies. These studies, a culmination of diligent efforts and meticulous inquiry, promise to influence policy-making and enhance various sectors.
Recognitions were bestowed upon exemplary faculty researchers, highlighting their exceptional contributions to the field:
The 1st Place was claimed by the Institute of Integrated Development Education, with faculty-researchers namely: Dr. Rowena Dela Cruz, Ma. Purificacion Gannaban, and Ms. Thina Gardner.
Securing the 2nd Place was from the College of Information Technology and Computer Studies with research members, Ms. Lyza Bernadette Cruz, Mr. Jerry Umali, and Mr. Rommel Dinoso.
The 3rd Place was attained by the collaboration of the College of Business Administration and College of Teacher Education, with researchers composed of Mr. Ghiebert Son Octavio, Mr. Denny Lou Bendejo, and Ms. Fe Dullavin, followed by the 4th Place from the College of Accountancy, with research members: Dr. Elena E. Presnedi, Mr. Denny Lou Bendejo, and Ms. Lurleen Lacuna.
